The Senaru trekking route program is ideal for novice climbers and for those wishing to savor the picturesque allure of the Senaru crater rim.

Itinerary:
Arrival day: We will pick you up at Lombok airport or another location on Lombok Island and transfer you to your hotel in Senaru. Your trekking guide will meet you there and offer guidance to help you better prepare for the journey.

Day 1:
Wake up at 6:30 am and have breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll take a 10-minute walk to the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru to register. The trek at Rinjani begins around 08:00 from the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru, walking through a dense tropical forest rich in flora, birdlife, and a variety of butterflies. We’ll stop for a break at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) to enjoy a cup of tea with some biscuits. After the break, we’ll continue trekking for another 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for another break and lunch.

After lunch, we will depart from Pos 3 and ascend to the Senaru crater rim (2641m), a journey of approximately two hours. The Senaru crater offers a breathtaking view, surpassed only by the peak itself. Here, we will witness a stunning sunset over Mount Agung in Bali, observe the smoke rising from the new volcano at the lake’s edge, and set up camp for the night.

Day 2:
Following breakfast accompanied by a stunning sunrise, we will depart from Mount Rinjani and make our descent to Senaru Village, passing through the rainforest. With some luck, we might spot the elusive black monkey. The journey will take approximately 5 hours, and we’ll have lunch en route. Upon arrival at Senaru Village, which sits at 601 meters, a car will be ready to transport you to your subsequent destination.

Day 1:

Trekking Rinjani start from the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru around 08:00, start to walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. We will immediately leave Pos 3 after lunch and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater has the most spectacular view after the peak. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake and camp here for the night.

Day 2.
After breakfast we will continue the trip down to the lake and hot water. Trek down to the lake steep and somewhat slippery, which takes 2.5 hours to reach. We stopped at the Lake side to rest. Here we can enjoy the view of the lake, swimming in the lake and bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains after a trip. Porter we will prepare lunch for us. We will leave the lake after lunch and climb back to Senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2.5 hours. We will camp here for the night

Day 3:
After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and we will take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) the Car will take you to your next destination.

The trekking start from Rinjani Trekking center Senaru around 8:00am, start the trek through thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. Rest stops are taken at Pos 2 Montong Satas shelter ( 1.500 m ) for drink tea with some biscuits. After rest continue walk up for another 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak ( 2.000 m ) for rest and lunch.

We’ll leave the Pos 3 after lunch and climb up to the senaru crater rim (2641m) for 2 hours. Senaru crater rim has the second most spectacular view after the summit. We will enjoy the incredible sunset over mountain Agung in Bali and smoke from the new volcano by the lake. We will camp here for the night.

Day 2: Rinjani trekking 4 days : Senaru crater rim (2641 m) – Segara anak lake (2.000 m)
After brakfast we’ll continue our journey down to the lake and hot spring. The trail down is steep and a bit slippery, which takes 2.5 hours to reach. We stop at the lakeside and camp for the second night. Here we can enjoy the lake view, and swim in the lake. The hot spring can soothe away your aches and pains from the trek and are widely known for its natural healing powers.

Day 3: Rinjani trekking 4 days : Segara anak lake (2.000 m) – Sembalun crater rim (2.639 m)
We’ll leave the lake after lunch and climb up to the Sembalun crater rim(2639m) for 2.5 hours, We will camp the night at the crater rim. We can enjoy the awesome views of sunrise and sunset. On a clear day, we will be able to see the Milky Way

Day 4: Rinjani trekking 4 days : Sembalun crater rim (2.639 m) – Summit (3.726 m) – Sembalun (1.100 m )
We are awakened around 2:00am under the cover of darkness with hot drinks and light breakfast. We’ll start heading to rinjani summit at 3:00am. We begin with a moderate climb, followed by a fairly easy but longer walk. The final approach to the summit involves a steep climb over loose volcanic scree.

Now it’s 6:00am. We can celebrate our accomplishment with the beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of lombok island, bali island, sumbawa island and segara anak lake.

After that, we’ll descend back down to sembalun crater rim in 2 hours and have breakfast there. We’ll continue to descend to sembalun village, which takes 5 hours to reach. The car will take us to senaru village and transfer you to your next destination.
